 Established in 1969 and registered under Tamil Nadu Government Societies Act 1975

The professional diploma examination is termed as
Associate member of "Institute of Motor Industry (India)" ie. AMIMI(I).

  This Associate membership examination will be  regarded as a qualification
  for a technician who is qualified by specialist technical education to work
  under the general direction of technologist  who shall be a
  "Charter Engineering".

 The mission is to improve Productivity, Competition and Quality in profession.
